Fantasy MMA contests are now available for #UFCDC, and as always BSMMA is offering both paid entry contests with guaranteed prize pools as well as free entry contests where you can compete for points & prizes!
After a two-week layoff from UFC cards, we’re back with an event stocked with under the radar action. In the main event, Alistair Overeem (45-17) looks to hold his ground in the heavyweight division as he faces the quickly rising Jair Rosenstruik (9-0). Rosenstruik looks to build on the momentum he got from knocking out former champion Andrei Arlovski in under 30 seconds. Is “Bigi Boy” a future contender or will Overeem expose him as just a pretender?
Jair Rosenstruik isn’t the only up-and-comer looking to make their name on the card. Riding a four-fight win streak, Song Yadong (15-4) looks to crack into the top 10 of the bantamweight division when he meets talented wrestler Cody Stamman (18-2). Will Song be able to defend the takedown and land the big right hand that has made him his bread thus far?
Also featured on the undercard is undefeated featherweight Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell (11-0), who at only 23 years old is making a name for himself with his talent and his mic skills. Plus 24 year old Aspen Ladd (8-1) looks to get her name back in the title picture as she faced Yana Kunitskaya (12-4).
In the main event Jair Rosenstruik will be stepping up on short notice due to an unfortunate withdrawal from Walt Harris, but that’s not the only fighter looking to take advantage of jumping in.
Invicta FC standout Mallory Martin (6-2) makes her UFC debut on short notice after Virna Jandiroba (14-1) lost a pair of opponents due to injuries. Similarly, Jacob Kilburn (8-2) punched his ticket thanks to two violent KOs in Island Fights and an injury to Chris Fishgold. He’ll face Billy Quarantillo (12-2), who comes to the UFC by way of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Can any of these newbies make a splash in their debuts?
Dolla Dolla Bill!
